I was given duck things from a very young age. I think I had duck wall paper in my nursery (if not, it was bluebirds).
I take photos of ducks. I’ve raised ducks. I’ve tamed ducks. I’ve even slaughtered and eaten ducks. Needless to say I love ducks. I love their walk, talk, and personalities.
I found my first black mallard at a local park a while back. He was very photogenic (and chatty).
Shortly after that, I was sitting around with some friends (after a few drinks), trying to explain how great this duck was and… well… one thing lead to another and I bought my first domain.
… I also work in tech.
Which means I see a lot of poorly secured computers. But I’m classy, which means I don’t want to leave an “uncouth” website up as a reminder to log out or lock your machine.
I wanted a place to post duck photos.
I promise this site will always be “G-rated.”
What you do with it is up to you.
It’s my hope that someday, just once, someone looking for something else ends up here.
